I recently picked up watching TV again (a big change for me, since I usually only caught movies on planes!). One film I stumbled on was 13 Assassins, a violent samurai story set in the 1800s.

Joining Mom and her friends for Vesak Day celebration at the Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation that I’ve been curious about for awhile, and more reflections on this trip.

A short trip back to Indonesia after only two months away — time with family I treasure, roads I increasingly avoid, and conversations that stay with me.

More reflections on the way we often misunderstand singleness, and the better perspective the gospel offers us, whatever our relationship status.

A recent talk reminded me that while the gospel doesn’t make life easy, it does make it clear and hope-filled. Some reflections on the realities of life, aging, and especially singleness.

From regrettable movie choice on the plane to finding a new church in the neighbourhood!

Sharing my 2024 list that keeps me grounded—just by starting each morning with a simple reminder from my whiteboard.

More reflections post-Engage Conference—on growth, self-awareness, and solitude. And a book recommendation!
